ShoreDeath is a time of turmoil and stress. This is the case regardless of whether someone has died suddenly or whether they have been ill for some time and their passing was expected. You may be in this position yourself at the moment or have other reasons for logging onto this site. This site gives a short introduction to who I am, how I work and how I can help you.

A funeral, whether it be held in a church, temple, crematorium or elsewhere, is an important part of the healing process for those coming to terms with a painful loss. It gives us is a chance to say goodbye, to pay our respects and to celebrate the life of the person who has gone. It also gives others the opportunity to offer their condolences and support to the bereaved.

PaulI am a trained therapist practising in the south Hampshire area. For a number of years I have been working with people who are in a distressed state, and I find it immensely rewarding – as an independent celebrant – to offer a guiding hand at this difficult time. Based on my experience, I feel it is important to offer those who have lost a loved one a funeral service that is appropriate to the wishes of those left behind as well as the departed.

I am here to help people create a funeral ceremony that offers them comfort and an opportunity to say farewell to their loved one. For some this can mean little or no mention of an afterlife. However, others will want more of a spiritual dimension. Poetry readings and favourite songs are often requested.

As well as working as a celebrant, I have also been a hypnotherapist since 2008. If you’re interested in this aspect of my life, then please feel free to click on the link below.
